Stage 11 community theater is looking for ushers for the show "See How They Run". We probably only need 1 or 2 each night, but volunteers will be able to stay and watch the show for free!

Adult Acting Classes were a huge success!

Our first round of acting classes for adults were a huge success! During the last class when the students did their monologues for the final time, the instructor claimed that 2 of those could have been done on Broadway! Congratulations to the actors and to the teacher for a job well done! A few people were unable to attend so we'll be doing another round of this Intermediate class soon. Some have mentioned an interest in a Basic class as well, and most who attended the last class want to move on to an advanced class! So we'll be offering a lot more in the near future.....

So the stage isn't your thing you say? Learning acting techniques will help you in every aspect in your life! For starters, who couldn't use more confidence? That comes naturally when doing any type of acting classes. Public speaking skills, improve your selling for your job, these classes are for everyone.

Jon also has the information needed to pursue a serious career in acting if that's what your looking for.

And mostly, we just plain had fun getting out of the house and doing something new!

Audition call!!!!

Auditions for "See How They Run" will be Saturday, Jan 24th from 9-11am. They will be held at 390 W. Sunnyside. Please come prepared with a comedic monolouge (memorization is not required) and we will also do cold readings. Singing is also not required, but will be considered for the pre-show. Cast list will be sent out via e-mail on Monday, and rehearsals will start Tuesday. Break a leg!!!! 542-4707 http://www.stage11theater.org/
